I am yet to fill out ‘projects’ in any adequate manner. Each project should get its own page/blog but it is nothing that can’t wait for now…
At present, this website is a significant project for the landcare group. It is intended to aid the collecting of reference information and the organisation of volunteers as well as the documentation of the progress of the bush regeneration of the site.
As reference, some of the projects I have vaguely defined and intend on doing in the years to come are:
- Convert top level from grassed to bush
- Add more trees or shrubs to the front to make life harder for the weedy grasses
- Remove the grass and grow native ground cover
- Encourage more dianela sp to grow along the edge of the cliff.
- Improve tracks so all areas requiring attention can be accessed
- Mapping the reserve – making a map online so I can refer to locations throughout
- Adding species specific information
Along with that, it is mostly just general bush regeneration.
